A humorous variation of the exclamation "Christ alive" or "Christ" or "Jesus Christ". Usually an expression of surprise, shock, exasperation etc.
An exclamation used similarly to "Holy cow!" or "Oh my goodness!" It can also be used to indicate seriousness when preceded by "I wish to" or "I swear to".
